The name farenQuinn is derived from the surnames of Suzanne Berberet’s grandmother and great great grandmother, both of Irish descent. The name had a pleasant ring. Our mission is to offer products that weave smoothly into your routine and make life easier—while delivering practical beauty.
FarenQuinn’s first offering is a deceptively simple dance move, a redux of the traditional towel ring. A single piece of rope, a single knot, a solitary ring. Once it’s hung, you can adjust the ring up or down to your liking. The ring that can live in any room and is free to go with you anywhere in the world.
Our earth friendly thought process: Put weight only where needed. The ring itself is relatively lightweight aluminum since your towel will hold that down, while the finish matched end tips are heavier brass to weigh the cords down. From a product life cycle perspective, the materials were chosen to last and withstand damp environments. Functionally the product can continue working for you as you go places and your life changes. The minimal design is timeless. We ship in compostable packaging.
The founder, Suzanne Berberet, is a fine artist and Industrial designer with over twenty years’ experience. She’s lived and worked in New York, Wisconsin and Michigan. She honed her craft creating hundreds of products and fought for the independence to bring her unique synthesis of innovation and aesthetics directly to her audience. Odds are you’ve used something she’s touched before. Tired eyes fall on elegant lines in the kitchen before coffee, kids climb on serene structures in the laundry room, water falls over hands from a faucet in a favorite cafe or at an airport on the way home. FarenQuinn is Suzanne’s opportunity to design for you one on one.
Suzanne lives with her husband Bill in Michigan. Kate Glad, their daughter, is farenQuinn’s Brand and Product Consultant. She lives in NYC. Both Suzanne and Kate are citizens of the US and Ireland.
